El Sistema Greece Youth Choir joins forces with the adult choir of Moraitis School at Nafplio Artiva Festival

This season doesn’t cease to present us with strong musical experiences, filling us with energy and excitement in our dynamic return on live stages. One of these unforgettable moments was our participation at the International Artiva Choir Festival in Nafplio, on Saturday, November 13, when ESG choir master, Vagia Papagiannopoulou, brought together members of our youth choir with the adult choir of the Moraitis School, for a joint performance.
The festival, which managed to make a successful comeback this year, despite the challenging circumstances, aspires to promote artistic creation, highlighting the work of choir directors and choirs and offering its audience the opportunity to enjoy musical works by Greek and foreign composers through choral art. And we certainly showed up to support this important effort. The two choirs joined their voices and presented a repertoire of diverse musical genres, in a special evening that was perfectly set up within the imposing 18th-century building of Vouleftiko, a place of great historical importance in the central square of Nafplio.
Our trip to Nafplio, our collaboration with people who share our love for singing and the opportunity to reach a new audience, full of positive energy, filled us with confidence and offered us a unique artistic experience that we are very proud of. Music has no boundaries and restrictions and this was yet another opportunity for us to prove it.
