On Saturday, February 17th, Decibel Collective<\/b>, the newly formed winds and percussion ensemble of El Sistema Greece, comes to <\/span>Kypseli Municipal Market<\/b> to celebrate the <\/span>49th birthday of El Sistema<\/b> with two festive performances. El Sistema was born in Venezuela 49 years ago and to date has transformed the lives of countless children with music education as a key tool.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through popular songs, the musicians of El Sistema Greece under the direction of their teacher <\/span>Konstantina Ventouri-Roussou<\/b> create a festive atmosphere and send their warmest wishes to the other side of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The winds and percussion ensemble <\/span>Decibel Collective <\/b>was formed by the most advanced musicians of <\/span>El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra<\/b>, creating a space for expression and artistic development. El Sistema Greece’s music ensembles offer a unique process of group music learning, based on the principles and innovative teaching practices of El Sistema Venezuela. Finally, they transform music into a tool of expression and communication for both their members and the audience, offering joyful and emotional music moments.<\/span><\/p>\n
