On <\/span>Tuesday July 2<\/b> at <\/span>21:00<\/b> the <\/span>El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra <\/b>and <\/span>the El Sistema Greece Youth Choir<\/b> join their forces for a summer concert at the <\/span>Rematia Festival of the Municipality of Chalandri.<\/b> The musicians of El Sistema Greece make their first performance at the Rematia Festival and invite us to a musical evening full of surprises!<\/span><\/p>\n

From classical masterpieces to well-known movie hits and choral pieces from various parts of the world, the concert will be a musical journey through space and time. The musicians of El Sistema Greece will perform pieces that have left their mark on music and will highlight the timelessness of classical music and the dynamic energy of contemporary compositions. The orchestra will be conducted by Kyriaki Kountouri and the choir by Vagia Papagiannopoulou.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Sistema Greece <\/b>is an educational music program for social inclusion that provides high quality music education for free to children and young people. Its goal is to create a music community without restrictions and discrimination.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra<\/b> is an intercultural educational orchestra, open to young musicians 8-26 years old who already play an instrument. El Sistema Greece Youth Choir is an intercultural, dynamically evolving vocal ensemble that is constantly enriched by El Sistema Greece Choir students and from choral singers with vocal studies. El Sistema Greece’s music ensembles offer a unique process of group music learning, based on the principles and innovative teaching practices of El Sistema Venezuela.<\/span><\/p>\n
