El Sistema Greece\u2019s music ensembles offer a unique process of group music learning, based on the principles and innovative teaching practices of El Sistema Venezuela. The orchestra\u2019s conductor is Kyriaki Kountouri. The <strong>orchestra&#8217;s repertoire<\/strong> ranges from <strong>classical symphonic music<\/strong> (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johannes Brahms, Dmitri Shostakovich, Jean Sibelius, Edvard Grieg, Antonin Dvorak), <strong>film music<\/strong> (Klaus Badelt, Frederick Loewe, Andrew Lloyd Webber) and <strong>orchestral music by composers from Latin America<\/strong> (Arturo Marquez, Perez Prado, Carlos Garcia).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The rehearsals take place at Malliaras School in Alimos. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If you are interested to join us <\/span><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">contact Lydia Margari at lydia@elsistema.gr or call +30 694 824 6468<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It aims at building an inclusive music community that celebrates diversity and empowers students by developing their music skills and stimulating their independent thinking and agency.
