{"id":11928,"date":"2025-12-30T17:40:36","date_gmt":"2025-12-30T15:40:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elsistema.gr\/gine-melos-tou-el-sistema-greece-academy-2\/"},"modified":"2025-12-30T17:41:32","modified_gmt":"2025-12-30T15:41:32","slug":"gine-melos-tou-el-sistema-greece-academy-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elsistema.gr\/en\/gine-melos-tou-el-sistema-greece-academy-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Join the El Sistema Greece Academy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are you a young musician looking to grow within a creative, collaborative, and demanding artistic environment? <\/span><b>The El Sistema Greece Academy is now holding auditions for new members<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Sistema Greece has created a new musical ensemble dedicated to the artistic and personal development of young musicians, offering them the space to refine their technique, musical expression, and collaborative skills within a community that believes in the power of music as a tool for social change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The El Sistema Greece Academy is open to young musicians<\/span><b> aged 15\u201326<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who play: <\/span><b>violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, tuba, French horn, and percussion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ensemble focuses on a demanding and inspiring repertoire spanning different musical periods (including works by Gluck, Mozart, Grieg, Bart\u00f3k, and others). Musicians collaborate with distinguished conductors and soloists, take part in major concerts, and use music as a means of creativity and social engagement. The ensemble\u2019s conductor is<\/span><b> Kyriaki Kountouri<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rehearsals take place <\/span><b>every Saturday, 16:00\u201319:00<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, at Nea Ekpaideftiria G. Malliara (6 Erechtheiou St., Alimos), with<\/span><b> free transportation provided<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to and from three locations in Attica (Penteli, Syntagma, Kypseli).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The El Sistema Greece Academy welcomes both current El Sistema Greece members and young musicians from conservatories or music schools, fostering diversity and strengthening the musical community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Audition applications must be submitted by <\/span><b>Wednesday, January 14<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
