Inspired by the internationally recognized El Sistema programme of Venezuela, the organization delivers group music activities in a variety of settings, including refugee accommodation facilities, shelters for unaccompanied minors, creative learning centers, and its main location in Kypseli, Athens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The programme promotes community, social inclusion, and personal development through collective music education, positively impacting students, their families, and the wider community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Position Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Programme Coordinator<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> supports the day-to-day operation of El Sistema Greece&#8217;s educational programs and musical ensembles, ensuring that students, teachers, and families receive the support they need for activities to run smoothly and consistently.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The role combines organisational, administrative, and educational responsibilities and serves as a key link between the administrative team, teachers, students, and families.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Educational Programme Coordination<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support the daily operation of classes and educational activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare classrooms and the necessary equipment before each lesson.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist teachers during lessons.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate the enrollment of new students.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manage orchestra and choir rehearsals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare and distribute sheet music and other musical materials to musicians and teachers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist with the preparation of concerts, rehearsals, and artistic activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help organize transportation, attendance, and other logistical needs of the musical ensembles.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Student and Family Support<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Serve as a primary point of contact for students and parents.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide information about class schedules and the organization&#8217;s activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support the integration of new students into the El Sistema Greece community.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children and families.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Administrative Support<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Work closely with Programme Managers and the teaching team.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist in preparing educational materials.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support the organization of events and concerts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitor educational equipment and supplies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist with collecting data for programme monitoring and evaluation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Implement and support the organization&#8217;s <\/span><b>Child Safeguarding Policy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Candidate Profile<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previous experience in a similar role within a social, educational, or cultural organization, and\/or in an administrative or front-desk position.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong communication skills with children and adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to work under pressure.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Flexibility and
