The 13th Athens Open Air Film Festival and El Sistema Greece, with deep sympathy and a sense of solidarity, announce the CANCELLATION of today’s event in the courtyard of Zappeion due to participation in the three-day national mourning for the shipwreck in Pylos.<\/p>\n

El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra states that they “chose to remain silent as a sign of respect to the people who perished. Our musical instruments will remain in their cases”.<\/p>\n

The scheduled special screening, dedicated to the 100 YEARS OF DISNEY of the film THE KING OF LIONIES, by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff, and the live musical concert by El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra will be rescheduled on Monday, June 26, same location and time.<\/p>\n

We thank you for your understanding and express our sorrow and sympathy to the families of the victims of the tragic shipwreck.<\/p>\n
