The Young Leaders Program is designed to empower young people, helping them discover themselves and build strong, supportive communities. By fostering core values such as collaboration, responsibility, and empathy, the program cultivates active citizenship, guiding participants through a journey of personal and social growth that goes far beyond just musical training.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each academic year, the program brings together a diverse group of dedicated young music students above 12 years old from El Sistema Greece. The Young Leaders Program aims to improve their critical thinking, decision-making, and self-expression, laying a strong foundation for their future and developing their agency. Through monthly meetings, workshops, and collaborations with external experts and institutions, participants evolve into confident, socially aware leaders, equipped to make a positive impact in their communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, students take an active role in various fields of work at El Sistema Greece, gaining a strong sense of belonging while also taking on greater responsibilities. Whether through volunteering, voting on key issues, and community engagement, these activities serve as formative experiences that pave the way for future opportunities and strengthen the bonds within their communities.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

The Young Leaders Program is an educational program, implemented every year by El Sistema Greece and is inspired by the pioneering educational system of El Sistema in Venezuela, which has successfully implemented a similar model, increasing the participation and contribution of students and improving their sense of belonging.
