ART4U – Artvocacy for the Union

Artvocacy for the Union (ART4U) is a European initiative that uses art as a tool to promote citizen participation and the core values of the European Union, including democracy, equality, inclusion, and freedom of expression. Through artistic and educational activities in three countries –Greece, Poland, and Portugal– the programme encourages young people to express their ideas and experiences on social issues through music, theatre, and storytelling. Specifically, in Greece the activities are implemented through music, in Poland through theatre, and in Portugal through storytelling. At the same time, it creates spaces for dialogue between youth, civil society organisations, and the wider public, contributing to stronger youth participation in the democratic and cultural life of Europe.

The trainings focused on topics such as artivism and creative advocacy through the arts, advocacy and democratic participation, as well as the sustainability and management of civil society organizations.
