The El Sistema Greece School of Hip Hop Summer Camp will conclude with a big concert
at Kypseli Municipal Market on Friday June 27 at 19.30.
Free admission
The innovative educational music program of El Sistema Greece in collaboration with Blend Mishkin, takes place from June 25 to 27 and brings together 30 children and teenagers aged 10-16 years old, from all over Athens, without any discrimination or restrictions, with or without musical knowledge. ESG School of Hip Hop students participate in the program completely free of charge and collaborate with DJs and MCs to create and record their own original music and – as true artists – present it to the audience in a big concert. The event also includes graffiti workshops and break dance classes. Everything the kids need to get in touch with all the elements of hip hop (djing, rhyming, break dance, graffiti) and set up their own complete performance! As part of the program, the kids will also get to know well-known Hip Hop artists, who will participate as guest artists in the program.
In the big closing concert of the programme, with the participation of all the students, the emerging talents of hip hop will take to the stage and present to the audience their original musical creations, their skills in scratching and break dance through an impressive choreography, but also in graffiti through the work they will create and will be the backdrop of the concert. The concert will also feature the children’s teachers Blend Mishkin, BNC The Disco Vampire and DJ Marble, who will set the tone for the evening and will take us to their rhythms.
