Jeben Klapakis

Jeben Klapakis was born in 1975 in Sydney and lives in Athens. He holds a diploma in violin and a degree in architecture from NTUA. He has been teaching violin since 1992. He believes that there is something architectural about teaching music. You are invited to “design” and slowly “build” a child from zero, until the moment he/she plays everything. He is responsible for the art laboratory “The Music Box” and music teacher at the “Trianemi” primary school.

He has participated in many classical and contemporary music ensembles as well as recordings. He maintains a string orchestra in the northern suburbs. He is married and has 2 children.
