Are you a young musician looking to grow in a creative and collaborative environment?
The El Sistema Greece Academy is launching and welcoming new members!
El Sistema Greece has created this new ensemble with the goal of further developing its musicians, providing them with the space to enhance both their technical and artistic skills, as well as their ability to act as active members of a community that believes in the power of music as a tool for social change. This new ensemble is aimed at young musicians aged 15–26 with musical skills and focuses on a challenging and engaging repertoire, covering works from all musical periods (e.g., Gluck, Mozart, Grieg, Bartók, and more).
Musicians will collaborate with renowned conductors and soloists, perform in major concerts, and use music as a tool for social change and creative expression. The ensemble is conducted by Kyriaki Kountouri.
Rehearsals take place every Saturday from 16:00–19:00 at the Malliaras School (Erechtheiou 6, Alimos), with free transportation provided to and from three points in Attica (Penteli, Syntagma, Kypseli). The ESG Academy welcomes members both from El Sistema Greece and from conservatories or music schools, enhancing the diversity and dynamism of the musical community.
