El Sistema Greece FIESTA | Open Call

For four days, musicians from different backgrounds will come together
to create a shared musical experience.

This year, El Sistema Greece celebrates its 10th anniversary with El Sistema Greece FIESTA, a four-day festival of collective music-making, taking place in Athens from 24 to 27 September 2026.

We are inviting young instrumentalists and choir singers (aged 12–26) to become part of this unique musical gathering. Over the course of four days, musicians from different orchestras, choirs, and musical communities will rehearse together, exchange experiences, and create a large-scale collaborative performance.

During the festival, participants will work with two distinguished figures from El Sistema Venezuela:
Christian Vasquez, Musical and Artistic Director of the Juan José Landaeta Symphony Orchestra (VE), Associate Director of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra (VE) and Associate Conductor of the Orquestra de València (ES), will prepare and conduct the οrchestras.

Lourdes Sánchez, Director of the Simón Bolívar National Choir and of the Academic Choral Program of El Sistema, will prepare and conduct the choirs.

This shared musical journey will culminate on 27 September at The American College of Greece (ACG), where more than 150 musicians and singers will present a programme combining works from the symphonic repertoire with music from Latin America.

The festival will feature the ensembles of El Sistema Greece, alongside invited orchestras and choirs from across Greece.
