On Sunday, April 27, at 20:30, El Sistema Greece invites you to the concert Echoes of the World at the Olympia Municipal Music Theater “Maria Callas”.
The music ensembles of El Sistema Greece come together to present a multicultural mosaic of sounds and rhythms. The evening’s repertoire will take the audience on a journey from the melodies of Romania and Hungary to the vibrant energy of Latin America and the expressiveness of Spanish tradition. At the same time, traditional Greek pieces and contemporary compositions will bridge the past with the present, in a program that reflects the global nature of our music ensembles.
On the stage of the historic Municipal Music Theater “Maria Callas,” musicians from different countries—ranging from beginners to advanced performers—will come together with a shared vision: to share with the audience the sounds and stories of the world, proving that music is the medium that connects us all.
The concert will be presented by students of El Sistema Greece, who will share their thoughts, experiences, and moments from their participation in the music ensembles. Through their words, they will convey the experience of being part of a community that creates and expresses itself through music.
