El Sistema Greece is pleased to announce the beginning of its cooperation with Zoe Zeniodi who takes on the role of artistic director of the organization. This collaboration marks an important milestone in El Sistema Greece’s journey to continue and strengthen its mission towards the social inclusion of children and young people by providing free music education of high quality.
A few words from Zoe Zeniodi:
“More than ever, the times testify to the need for profound social changes and different ways of expression and communication. We have an obligation to do everything in our power to protect, support and help the lives of all children living or being in transition in our country develop. Music fosters morals, customs, values, resilience, vision and purpose. It gives wings and deepens roots. It is one of the most direct ways of inner connection, solidarity, teamwork and interaction. Having a deep faith in children and music, I am honored to take up this position, fully aware of my responsibility. With enthusiasm, perseverance, passion and love, and through my proven years of work in the arts, always with a people-centered approach, along with the excellent team of El Sistema Greece, we will continue to bring people together, offering paths of creativity, helping children to acquire safe environments in which they can explore their artistic identities and cultivate a place for a more human and hopeful way of being.”
