Can children and yοuth of different nationalities and cultures, who do not speak the same language, form a well-tuned orchestra? Of course they can, because they are united by the world language of music!
On Saturday, March 14, the Vassilis & Elizas Goulandris Foundation hosts the weekly rehearsal of the El Sistema Greece Kypseli Orchestra at the Museum Amphitheater, allowing the audience to enjoy the young musicians of the Kypseli teacher in their first public appearance and get to know the process. The El Sistema Greece Kypseli Orchestra is one of the educational orchestras of El Sistema Greece. It was founded in 2019 and consists exclusively of its students.
Members of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, who will visit Athens exclusively to support and collaborate with the students of El Sistema Greece in collaboration with the Fondation EME, will also take part in the open rehearsal.
